Faculty Objectives

• Design, review and revise the school curriculum periodically and make the curricula responsive to the social, culture, economic and technological demands.
  
  
• Introduce curriculum modification and related innovative practices to the school system in a meaningful and practical context.
  
  
• Enhance the professional competencies of personnel involved in curriculum development and implementation.
  
  
• Promote studies related to curriculum development and implementation and use the findings to improve the quality of education

The faculty is responsible for designing and development of the school curriculum (primary, junior secondary and senior secondary) and conduct preparation and orientation coursesfor master teachers who will undertake the training of teachers in the provinces implementing the curriculum.

This faculty is headed by two Assistant Directors Generals (ADGs) in charge of a number of units for different subjects areas, with each unit headed by the Directors.
